Achilles tendon repair

It is a surgical procedure to fix a torn or ruptured Achilles tendon. The surgery involves stitching the torn ends of the tendon back together, allowing it to heal and regain strength. Post-surgery, patients
typically undergo physical therapy to restore flexibility and function. Recovery time can vary, but most people return to normal activities within a few months.

 Ankle Ligament Reconstruction

This surgery is done to repair and tighten damaged ligaments in the ankle. During the procedure, the surgeon reattaches or replaces the torn ligaments using stitches or a tendon graft from nearby tissue. After surgery, patients usually wear a brace and follow a physical therapy program to restore strength and flexibility. This procedure helps improve ankle stability and function, allowing people to return to daily activities and sports with a lower risk of future injuries.

Hallux Valgus ( Bunion ) Surgery

The goal of bunion surgery is to reduce pain and correct the toe deformity. In mild cases, the surgeon removes the enlarged part of the bone and realigns the surrounding soft tissues. In moderate to severe cases, the surgeon cuts and realigns the bone around the joint to correct the outward angle of the big toe. After surgery, patients are usually able to wear shoes comfortably and move the toe more naturally.

Lisfranc injuries fixation

Lisfranc (midfoot) injuries happen when the bones in the middle of the foot are broken or the ligaments that support them are torn. The goal of surgery is to realign the joints, put the broken bones back in their normal positions, and restore stability to the midfoot.

In the ORIF procedure (open reduction and internal fixation), the bones are held in place with screws or plates. In a midfoot fusion (arthrodesis), the cartilage in the affected joints is removed, and the joints are fused together using screws or plates to provide long-term stability.

Jones fracture fixation

Jones fractures occur when sudden force is applied to the outside of the foot, often with the foot twisted outward, resulting in a fracture at the base of the fifth metatarsal (the long bone on the outside of the foot).

Most of these fractures are treated with a percutaneous screw fixation, where a screw is inserted through a small incision to hold the bone in place. If the fracture is displaced or misaligned, an open reduction surgery is performed to properly realign and stabilize the bone.

Adult flatfoot Surgeries

Flatfoot surgery is performed using a combination of procedures, depending on how severe the deformity is. The main goals are to improve the alignment of the foot, restore normal pressure while standing and walking, reduce pain, and improve walking ability.

The surgery may include procedures such as Achilles tendon lengthening, medializing calcaneal osteotomy, tendon transfers, lateral column lengthening, Cotton (medial cuneiform) osteotomy, midfoot fusion, subtalar fusion, or triple arthrodesis, depending on the individual needs of the patient.

Calcaneus,Talus, MT fracture fixation

Open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) is a surgery where broken bone fragments are first realigned into their normal position. Once the bones are properly aligned, they are held together with screws, plates, or a combination of both to allow proper healing and restore function.

Arthrodesis (Fusion) -Great toe, Subtalar, ankle:

Arthrodesis of the foot and ankle is a surgery in which two or more bones in the foot or ankle are fused together into a single bone. It is usually done for severe pain or disability caused by conditions such as rigid flatfoot with arthritis in the hindfoot, rheumatoid arthritis, post-traumatic arthritis, or Charcot neuropathy.

During the procedure, the surgeon makes small incisions around the joint and removes all the cartilage so the bones can touch directly. The bones are then held in place using special plates and screws to allow them to fuse together and restore stability.
